Three walls, thirty feet high for daring rock climbers to test their upper body and finger strength. Straining and climbing, scrambling and traversing, they make it to the top only to face another obstacle— climbing down. If only there were stairs…or better yet a zip line which allows you to enjoy the view while resting from your treacherous climb…wait, could it be? From the view at the top, there attached is a 1000 ft. long zip line ready to glide tired rock climbers to safety below near the laser tag field opposite side of the pond. Each adventurer safely dangled from harnesses as they experience the reward of their victorious climb!
This is our vision for the newest addition to the Edge Program! To purchase the equipment, construct the vision, and hire a team to install both the rock-climbing wall and zip line, $60,000 is needed. The first steps have already been completed by Dominion Power donating four poles and installing them safely in the ground. Our goal is to complete the rock wall and zip line by the Harvest Rally 2026. Future climbers and adventurists are looking forward to the thrill that this activity will create!
