Scott grew up in Virginia. Through an invitation to church by his aunt, he began attending church and searching the Scriptures for himself. After speaking with his aunt about spiritual matters, Scott accepted Christ as Savior. He married his wife Jennifer in 2000. Scott worked in program management as well as youth ministry before entering into full-time ministry in 2013 after feeling the Lord’s calling on his life to do more. Shortly thereafter, God confirmed that their family’s full-time call was one to camp ministry. Scott’s seventeen-year experience in children’s ministry, directing of Master Clubs and Awana programs, and attending Virginia Baptist College for pastoral ministry have given him ample experiences through which God has prepared him to impact lives for Christ. As president and founder of The Edge Christian Camp, Scott travels to preach, directs public relations, fundraising, marketing, the Edge finances, and vision of the ministry. His passion is to reach and invest in both the current and future generations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
